Thurs June 3, 2004 Codette W.R &W. drift 27 degrees very calm 5-9pm 2 small on drift - bounce yellow rigs with leeches

Island - best was black jig with black tail and leech - 2.5 lb biggest, 1/2 doz small fish

Fri June 4 Did not go 27 degrees - high of 21 Sat rain on Sunday in forecast    
Sat June 5 Codette -W.drift 24 degrees, sunny and hot 4-7pm Forgot fishfinders and net at home. Randy had a bigger one on than the other day. White lindy rig with leeches. Lost it at boat. Had small hooks on the rig. Caught couple small ones, did not fish lots. Kent broke new Quantum rod. Ron and Mark caught 7lb walleye on drift. Water fairly cloudy/merky but cleaner than most springs.

Saturday June 19 Codette 22 degrees mild rain, mainly cloudy, dirty water fast drift 7 am to 12:30

12:30 to 3pm East

Codette lake Walleye Challenge, couple small fish on drift, very slow, not much coming out. Most size coming out of Island, gravel pit and sunken island. Weighed in 1.77 for two fish, then went to pickeral point, caught our others jigging, off and on action..much better than west drift. Kent's dark orange (not bright) jig and a bright yellow neon jig worked best. Exchanged our 3 and weighed in for a total of 7 something...24th of 51 on day 1
Sunday June 20 Codette - day 2 15 lots of rain, high winds (really rough), ugly day, lots of cloud 7 to 11:30 East

11:30 to 3 West

Went East to Pickeral Point. Jigged, caught some, but slow, water real rough. Trolled the drop off. Randy 24 inch (4.? lbs) on 6 ft lindy wight, bobber stop, neon yellow bead, #1 Gamakatsu hook with leech, also nice sauger....weighed in 2 fish for 2.77 lbs, kept big one (over 55) for afternoon in case we caught two bigger over 55. Went to west drift, Kent caught nice walleye, over 55, 4.? pounds, by rock with beaver house, 23 feet water on bottom bouncer and rig with nightcrawler. No other fish all afternoon, some small ones caught around us, and one other about same size by Taylor boys in same vicinity as Kent's. Weighed 2 fish for 8.24, 11.01 total (10th place day 2), 14th of 51 overall
        Big fish of tournament, 10.28 and 9.65 from East, gravel pit, sunken island area. 7.7 lb at island and Steve caught some in 4-6 range at island.
Monday June 21 No fishing cloudy, bit of sun, spot of rain, high 14 degrees    
Fri June 25 Codette Lake cloudy 18 degrees evening to 10:30pm Rod and Jana and kids

Island was slow, west drift 1 fish, Bridge, good nice perch and some walleye, white jig and white tail best

Sat June 26 Codette Lake sunny some cloud 19 degrees noon to 3 bridge 1/2 hour nothing, west drift real good far corner 20 feet up to fallen pine was best, spinners. Had shore lunch at campground (Boat behind us landed a 9 1/4 lb walleye on a homemade plug)
Sun June 27 Codette Lake Sunny wind 20 WSW day Spinners and B. Bouncers on west drift, Colton 2.6 lb pike, small walleye, Randy 2.6lb walleye, couple others on the drift, but slow, wind calmed down, slow drift, Kent and Rhonda came 2 walleye, jigged 15 minutes at Bridge, one walleye

Taylors were at gravel pit, 3 -2 1/2 pounders, and a 6 1/2 pounder.

July 1 Codette Lake -Gravel Pit, Pickeral Point warm, rain clouds 5-7pm Hammered the walleye - caught about 40, couple in 2 lb range, both spots hot. Old guy got a 33 inch walleye at gravel pit earlier in the day.
2005        
May 31st Codette - Gravel pit, East flat drift 25 degrees, calm very nice out..heavy rain on June 1st 6-8:30pm Took Kent's boat out for initial run. Ran great, one crank to start. Reached 40mph, ran like a top. Fished pit, 2 bites, east drift 2 bites. Used leeches and minnows. Did not fish hard, no jig changes, no rigs, etc. More to get out to run boat. Saw 1 small fish caught at pit.
